We are a volunteer Band, affiliated to 16th Field Regiment Royal New Zealand Artillery, but it is not necessary for band members to enlist in the NZ Army Reserve.

We perform a full programme of both military and civilian engagements, and are supported by an incorporated charitable Association. We own our bandroom, instruments, music library and other equipment. The Band welcomes new members on all instruments. We practice every Tuesday from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.

The Band has a very welcoming and sociable atmosphere, and provides members with an instrument, uniforms and further mentoring, without charge (apart from a small annual subscription).

If you are interested in joining the Band, we would be very pleased to hear from you.

You will find further info regarding joining the band HERE and our contact details are HERE. We look forward to hearing from you.
